Decision Making

V•I•S•A can be used straight “out of the box” but there is sometimes a need for an external facilitator to act as an unbiased and unconnected party in helping and individual business decision maker, or a set of participants make a decision. Our highly experienced and high regarded decision facilitators have helped all levels of public, private and governmental organisations enabling decisions to be taken in a considered, agreed and methodologically sound manner. Projects range from short one-off session (with suitable preparation time) to long term change management programmes.

Procurement

Procurement regulations require methodologically sound methods of using weights in determining the outcome of tendering or other procurement processes.

Our senior consultant has advised legislators, regulators, companies creating tendering process and systems, and also companies who have suffered loss due to tendering decisions based on mathematically invalid use of weights.

Computing Infrastructure

Some large decision processes using V•I•S•A require short term use of servers and computing infrastructure appropriate for large scale decision participation. Our team can either advise your IT people on the appropriate configuration, or can help them set this it, or can provide rental use of our own infrastructure.

Technology Embedding

V•I•S•A’s technology has been embedded within other software products and has been reformatted to meet particular needs. Example are: Applications that use V•I•S•A’s underlying technology as a small part of shopping and comparison oriented web sites; Integration of the underlying technology with a desktop software product in the that generates alternatives for comparison.

Training

V•I•S•A is used by most people out-of-the-box, however we offer training at various levels:

Two hour new-user V•I•S•A orientation training is run via web-conferencing with no requirement to travel or book meeting rooms. One of our junior consultants will take you through the basic features of V•I•S•A, show you how to fully set up and evaluate a simple decision example.
