Linear

The scores entered are linearly related to the contribution they make to the score at the level of the parent criterion. For example, a price increase of $10 from $100 to $110 is just as bad as a $10 price increase from $500 to $510.

In the case of linear scales you can change the low and high points of the scale from the default 0 to 100 scales. Best can be repersented by a lower number than worst if that is more appropriate (this is common, for example, for costs).
