Across Tree Weights

By default V•I•S•A uses Across Tree Weights in Free Weight Mode.

In Across Tree Weights, Free Weight mode, any weight can be assigned to any bottom level criteria, they do not need to sum to one. In this case the most important criterion weight should normally be 1 (but this is not compulsory). Other weights are changed relative to this criterion.

Across Tree Weights, Normalized Mode means all weights assigned to the bottom level criteria sum to one automatically.

In either Across Tree Weight mode it is best to use Weight Tree Bars to visualize the weights.

The mode in use can be changed in the MENU Panel/Weighting.
