In new V•I•S•A Version 7 you can choose:

	Software on your computer, or
	Zero download, zero install, run on the Web

In both cases the new V•I•S•A runs in your web browser so all users find it easy and compatible with current interface standards.

Whether you run V•I•S•A on the web or on your PC you also get these innovations in version 7:

	Decision Wizard – Feedback and the many projects we have reviewed have shown us that each new decision takes a level of understanding of multi-criteria decision analysis that most users don’t have when they start working with V•I•S•A. So we have added an (optional) Decision Wizard that leads you through each of the main stages of structuring your decision in V•I•S•A.
	Research has shown us that the "Within Family" way of setting weights, while very important for some types of decision, is not the most straightforward in most cases. V•I•S•A now defaults to an "Across Tree" weighting method.
	Updated GUI/usability. V•I•S•A for Windows innovated because Windows was new, but its interface (especially some of the click combinations) had become quirky. V•I•S•A version 7's new interface has change all interface interaction to meet the latest web interface standards.
	New visual interface. Whether you are using the internet connectivity or not, you still get the professional new interface that runs inside your browser making presentation style charts much more appealing to users and decision participants.
	Thin-Client technology. Even when not using the internet connectivity option you can still take advantage (if required) of V•I•S•A's new Thin-Client operation. This means that, optionally, there is a zero-foot-print, zero install on the PC running V•I•S•A. No downloads are required, no installation is required, just go to a URL and start using in your browser (for example Internet Explorer).
	Continuously displayed on-screen advice: V•I•S•A now uses our own technology for intelligently displaying context sensitive help to guide you through the multi-criteria decision making process in an organized way.

V•I•S•A version 3 to 6 can be upgraded to V•I•S•A version 7 through or online shop.  You need your old V•I•S•A license number to hand to make the online purchase of the upgrade.  Get this from Help/About in V•I•S•A for Windows (Versions 3 to 6).

V•I•S•A version 7 is back-compatible with V•I•S•A for Windows (versions 3 to 6).  It uses the same file type.  This applies to all the different forms of V•I•S•A Version 7 including PC Desktop/Laptop editions, Web based editions, Standard, Professional and Multi-User
